Personal data and personal privacy are among the most important issues in the digital age we live in. Recently, very important legal regulations have been made regarding personal data both locally and internationally.

Koç Üniversitesi her türlü cinsel şiddet ve tacizden arınmış bir akademik araştırma, eğitim ve çalışma ortamını güvence altına almak ve cinsel taciz konusundaki farkındalığı, bilgiyi ve duyarlılığı artırmak amacıyla 2015 yılında “Cinsel Tacizi Önleme E-Eğitim” programını hazırlamış ve tüm çalışanların erişimine açmıştır.
Cinsel Tacizi Önleme Yönetmeliği güncellenerek Koç Üniversitesi Cinsel Şiddet ve Tacizi Önleme Yönergesi olarak 27 Nisan 2022 tarihinde yayınlanmıştır.
Güncellenen Cinsel Şiddet ve Tacizi Önleme Yönergesi’nin tüm çalışanlar tarafından bilinirliğini sağlamak amacıyla, “Cinsel Tacizi Önleme E-Eğitim” programının da içeriği yönerge doğrultusunda güncellenmiş ve eğitim süresi 15 dakikaya indirgenerek “Koç Üniversitesi Cinsel Şiddet ve Tacizi Önleme Eğitimi” olarak sizlerin erişimine açılmıştır.
Yeni eğitim programı, tüm akademik ve idari çalışanlar için zorunlu olup 17 Ekim 2022 tarihine kadar tamamlamanız önem taşımaktadır.

Dear Members of the Koç University Community,
In order to ensure an academic research, education, and working environment free of any form of sexual assault and harassment, and to increase awareness, knowledge, and sensitivity about sexual harassment, in 2015 Koç University prepared the program “Online Training for Sexual Harassment Prevention” and made it accessible to all employees.
The Regulation on the Prevention of Sexual Harassment was revised and published on April 27, 2022 as the Koç University Directive on the Prevention of Sexual Assault and Harassment.
To ensure that all employees are aware of the revised Directive on the Prevention of Sexual Assault and Harassment, the content of the “Online Training for Sexual Harassment Prevention” program has also been updated accordingly, and the training has been streamlined to 15 minutes and made available as "Koç University Sexual Assault and Harassment Prevention Training”
The new training program is mandatory for all academic and administrative employees and must be completed before October 17, 2022.
